Chapter 15: Co-Bathing

According to the field trip plan, they would spend two days in Sandstorm City.

As the sun set, Roy returned in high spirits with the little maid.

The female proprietor was also quite enthusiastic; after being stunned by the little maid’s charm, she generously gifted a set of accessories and a pair of high-heeled sandals.

This wave of generosity made Roy feel a little guilty, so he decided to think of her as a senior from then on.

After returning to the inn, they were greeted by another surprise.

“The prince specifically instructed me to upgrade your rooms to royal suites—please, make yourselves at home!”

Originally, field trips were group activities, and regardless of your status, everyone stayed in standard rooms.

Roy didn’t particularly care where he stayed, but the boys being together meant he couldn’t share a bed with Charlotte and the others, nor could he enjoy the little maid’s goodnight kiss right away.

Now that they had a suite, he no longer had to worry about gender separation; he could finally be free to interact with them!

Senior, you understand me!

Not just Roy, even Charlotte and Leanna had to recognize Douglas’s intentions and changed their views on the former adversary.

After enjoying a luxurious dinner that came with the suite, Roy pretended to be nonchalant and said, “It’s about time for bed. If you want to take a bath first, go ahead!”

Let the girls wash up first; then he could catch a glimpse of them after their baths!

While Alice was in the shower, he could also have a chance to be close with the others—after all, being affectionate in front of Alice wouldn’t be good for the kids.

However, Charlotte calmly said, “We’re not in a hurry; you go wash up first.”

“Right, right, you go ahead and wash!” Nia insisted, unceremoniously pushing him into the bathroom.

Damn it, why are you all so clueless about romance?! Roy complained silently, but there was nothing he could do, so he had to wash up alone.

The suite’s bathroom was quite spacious, large enough to accommodate more than ten people, but even though he was enjoying it alone, it still felt lacking, making the young man sigh repeatedly.

Little did he know, as soon as he stepped into the bathroom, Charlotte and the others exchanged sharp glances.

The four girls, having planned this out, all began shedding their clothes as they headed towards the bathroom.

This scared the little maid.

Alice immediately stood in front of the bathroom door, earnestly declaring, “Everyone, Alice believes it’s inappropriate to interrupt the master at this time!”

As a maid, protecting her master’s purity was part of her responsibilities!

Seeing the girls’ eager looks, Alice seriously doubted that letting them in would lead to anything but Roy being subjected to inhumane treatment!

However, Nia patted her shoulder with a mischievous grin, “Don’t worry, your master actually wants us to join him!”

“For lovers, this isn’t a big deal!”

This was obviously a lie.

None of the four girls present had taken the initiative to become overly affectionate with Roy to the point of true confession.

Only today, with the numbers on their side, did they muster the courage to take this step.

But Alice was still taken aback.

“Lovers” felt more like an insurmountable distance in status.

With nothing more to say, the little maid dropped her shoulders and quietly stepped aside.

But she never expected Nia to grab her hand.

“Eh?”

“Why are you still standing there? Let’s go together!”

“But Alice…”

Leanna grabbed Alice’s shoulder from the left: “The more, the merrier! No man would dislike having one more pretty little sister around.”

Xue Nuo grabbed Alice’s shoulder from the right: “Remember, as a maid, serving your master is also your duty.”

“?!”

Thus, Alice was forcibly dragged into the bathroom, with no chance to decline.

As the little maid changed her clothes, the girls exchanged glances again, their expressions becoming serious.

Mixed bathing.

Without them, Alice would probably never have thought of such a bold offensive!

“To make up for the embarrassing moment earlier, we absolutely must push things further tonight to prove our worth!” Looking at her somewhat useless comrades, Charlotte gritted her teeth and instructed, “Remember, we’re here to assist, not to dote on Roy. Let’s leave the spotlight for Alice!”

“Got it?”

“Got it! *3”

The three nodded vigorously, looking extremely serious, determined to follow the plan perfectly this time.

“Great! Let’s go, make sure Roy falls for Alice tonight!”

Charlotte raised her head, full of confidence, leading the charge into the bathroom.

The misty atmosphere and soothing warm water.

Roy, enjoying his bath in the tub, felt drowsy, it was as if he were lying in cotton. He had a blissful smile on his face.

To be honest, the sandstorms in the Golden Sands Country were indeed quite something. After running around outside all day, this soaking before bed was heavenly.

Roy felt rejuvenated, and all his grievances about not being able to be close with Charlotte and the others vanished, leaving only pure tranquility in his heart.

With such bliss before him, why indulge in the allure of women?

Right now, I am the true sage!

Until the door suddenly swung open, and several girls stormed in, causing Roy to snap back to reality.

His previously clear and sage-like eyes widened in an instant, tinted with the vibrant colors of the girls.

Even though he was somewhat accustomed to their beauty, he did have some resistance, but now stripped of their clothing and only wrapped in towels, their charm skyrocketed!

Whether shy and reserved, pure and bright, sultry, or strikingly cool.

Or, innocent and adorable, like a delicate flower swept in by a gust of wind.

Roy covered his eyes and exclaimed, “What are you all doing?!”

“To show you something nice, and you’re not happy?” Leanna stepped forward and playfully swatted Roy’s hands away, teasing, “At our relationship, isn’t this expected?”

Roy finally swallowed hard, tearing his gaze away from the bewitching senior witch.

“I get the logic, but why bring Alice along?”

Looking at the little maid who was too embarrassed to lift her head, Roy couldn’t help but smile wryly, “Alice, you too; you don’t need to join them in their nonsense.”

It was still too early for Alice to handle love affairs; don’t ruin my Alice!

Roy rose, grabbed a spare towel from the side, and wrapped it around the maid’s shoulders, fully covering her exposed arms.

Roy could never forget their first encounter, when he mistakenly thought Alice was terrified of being claimed.

Since then, he had always seen her as a little puppy in need of protection, a girl in need of care.

Unless it was someone he truly cared for, a man’s desires could frighten and push a girl away.

Gently patting the little maid’s head through the towel, Roy sighed, “If you don’t like it, you can leave now.”

As soon as the words left his mouth, Charlotte, Nia, Leanna, and Xue Nuo all shuddered, each gearing up for their own retorts.

Are you kidding? We’re here to get you two together; how can you just kick the leading lady out with one sentence?

But before they could say anything, Alice suddenly dashed into the boy’s embrace, looking like a dazed little deer.

“Um, actually, Alice doesn’t mind at all.”

Beneath the towel, the girl slowly peeked out her head, her wet eyes brimming with affection, her face blushing shyly as she softly whispered, “Master’s body actually looks really good.”

Like an invisible arrow piercing his heart.

The speechless young man could no longer find the words to send the girl away.
