Chapter 146
Advertising Isn’t Always Complicated
Advertising doesn’t always have to be complex and convoluted.
Especially when it comes to shooting review videos for platforms like YouTube. The key is to showcase the new product provided by the company in a way that viewers find enjoyable and tasty.
This particular ad’s focus was on a leisurely activity known as “car camping,” which has been steadily popular for quite some time. Typically, this involves individuals enjoying a one-night stay in their car while camping, and it seems that the idea of camping right from the comfort of your vehicle has become a subtle dream for many.
I decided to search for car camping videos on YouTube. It seems like most people modify their midsize vehicles for these trips. The routine is usually simple: parking at a campground, setting up for dinner, sleeping, and then returning home, but there’s a tranquil beauty to enjoying such moments in nature, especially during autumn leaves or snowy winter days.
“Oh, it’s already mid-April.”
Spring is in full bloom, the season of life. Even if it isn’t cherry blossom season, any scenery during this time is bound to be quite charming, making any camping site a good choice.
First, I searched for information on the new “product” provided by the company.
“Whoa…”
I understood why the capacity was set for five people, as the large camping car shown on the monitor boasted a presence all its own.
The attached video included an explanation of the camping car’s structure and how to use it. It seemed that the campground was already well-known for being a suitable location for larger vehicles.
There were also details about scheduling, precautions, and other standard info, which was nice since it meant I didn’t have to overthink any of it.
As for the other supplies, I could just buy whatever seemed appropriate.
So, the only thing left was to recruit party members…

“Camping? Car camping broadcast?”
Dayoung, still hungover, asked with a puzzled expression.
“I received an advertising sponsorship email from WVS about their new camping car. The content looks good, and I thought it might not be a bad idea to use it for content.”
“Wow! I want to try it out!”
Yuri’s eyes sparkled, but Dayoung felt that a briefing was necessary first.
“It seems like you’re not just going by yourself with the camping car. Can I see the advertising details you mentioned?”
“Sure, here. The reason I brought this up in front of everyone is to get everyone on board, so please look it over and let me know what you think.”
Well, that makes sense. If she was just going to zoom off on her own, she wouldn’t need to say anything to us. Maybe Ahjin doesn’t count, given she’s the editor.
‘Camping….’
Car camping does sound like a hassle.
As Sehee shared the materials from her briefing via messenger, I slowly skimmed through them. Out of all of us, the most experienced streamer, Dayoung, was actually quite a novice when it came to camping. After all, her main content was gaming.
The first item Dayoung looked into was the specs of the supported vehicle. Fortunately, the type of car supported was a spacious camping car. It was a neatly furnished interior, combining cleanliness with stylish decor, even rivaling a comfy living space. Honestly, this was a quality that would put most housing options to shame.
‘Isn’t this class too high for us?’
Then again, considering that she’s used to driving luxury cars, this seemed pretty normal for her.
WVS is a globally renowned brand, so perhaps they targeted her wealth and luxury image with this ad proposal.
Plus, while the idea is nice, car camping without a pre-set vehicle could quickly turn into a survival training session. Most campgrounds tend to be in scenic locations, meaning being close to nature also comes with dealing with swarms of bugs, including mosquitoes.
Looking from that perspective, the car they provided was quite appealing.
Using a high-end camping car is just like starting a game at max level right from the tutorial.
The large size is perfect to accommodate everyone, so it seems we won’t have to squeeze into a midsize car like Tetris.
“This car is awesome. But camping in a lousy environment while streaming is a total nightmare. So, that’s a relief.”
“Right?”
Ahjin, who had been studying the layout, nodded earnestly while checking the flow of movement.
“It seems like the driver’s seat is connected to the living area, making it great for filming while easily moving around. We’ll do it as a vlog, right?”
“Yeah, but I think some of it would be nice to stream live in the evening. A ‘night broadcast’ concept could work well.”
As Dayoung browsed the internet, she said with a satisfied look.
“I looked up campgrounds, and it seems the area we’re assigned has a great night view as well. The crucial part is deciding what content to focus on for the night broadcast.”
“That brings me to a request for Yuri.”
“Huh? Me?”
“Yeah, I was thinking of doing a cooking segment. Can you help? Campouts usually default to BBQ parties, right?”
Dayoung jumped in surprise, while Yuri, pointing to herself, appeared shocked.
“No, wait. Yuri can’t get out of here.”
In Yuri’s case, despite having been here for about a year, she was trapped within these walls. More precisely, it was impossible for her to leave in her original form.
The issue was her appearance changed when she left, and she’d turn into a muscular man.
Having a dude crash the outdoor car camping broadcast of a popular, stunning female streamer? Especially during an overnight stay in a camping car?
Dayoung suddenly felt dizzy at the thought. She could already picture the community’s reactions, the speculations pouring out in the chat. No, even thinking along those lines seemed like barely scratching the surface compared to what would actually happen. Whatever one could imagine, the reality would bring even worse disasters.
“Ugh! I suddenly feel nauseous.”
“I see you’re on the same wavelength.”
I empathized with Ahjin’s pale face.
If a man were part of a one-night car camping stream, the wild rumors and theories would run rampant, and there was a real chance of her channel exploding because of it. This might lead to an enforced retirement.
Everything Friede had built, her skyrocketing popularity, could vanish as easily as a fleeting dream.
“Sis, what about Yuri? You’re not seriously going to take her back like that, are you? If so, I’m totally against this content.”
“I… I feel the same. This, this could potentially lead to the stream getting shut down…”
Despite their reactions, Sehee remained unfazed. She clearly understood why they were worried, and more importantly…
“I have a solution.”
She had already thought of a way out.
“All we need to do is reinforce the camping car itself. Plus, if we enchant it with accessories, we could maintain her original form for a little while, even if she sits down.”
“Oh, that thing?”
Recalling the enchanted artifacts infused with her sister’s strength, which had been tested with Ahjin before, my anxiety evaporated.
“While the capacity stays the same, the output is reduced, but the duration could be extended. With this, we should be fine for a one-night, two-day trip.”
“Oh, that sounds good then.”
Well, that’s a relief.
The biggest problem was resolved; now the question was if Yuri would accept it.
“I think it’d be great if we made a few lovely dishes to eat. We can always prepare the base ingredients before we go anyway.”
There’s no need to make a big deal out of the cooking content.
Whether it’s clumsy, chaotic disaster food born from a series of mishaps, or elegantly prepared gourmet meals crafted after careful selection and preparation.
What viewers really care about isn’t the cooking itself, but the story of the streamer making it.
The highlight is cooking outdoors with beautiful streamers like my sister.
“Right? We can pick menu options that don’t pile too much pressure on Yuri, and if it gets tough, we can help out…”
Sehee said with a gentle smile, “I hope Yuri becomes the chefs of the heroes.”
“Yep, don’t worry about a thing.”
“Oh, um…”
Everyone turned their attention to Jihye, who cautiously raised her hand to speak.
“Can we rent something like a guitar? I think a folk guitar would be nice.”
“A guitar?”
Seeing Sehee tilting her head, Jihye confidently replied with a smile.
“Yeah, we won’t just be sitting around after eating. I had this image in mind: gathering around the fire at night, enjoying food and drinks while jamming together. You know, the whole campfire vibe.”
“Wow…”
With Ahjin expressing her admiration, Dayoung made notes on her app, checking off important points.
“That’s a great idea. We have access to a fire pit, so if the weather holds up, the night view will be incredible. The only issue might be Jihye’s playing ability… but it should be fine, right?”
“Of course, leave it to me.”
With that, it was hard to argue against this delightful idea.
The next day, an announcement appeared on Friede’s channel.
It was such a sudden notice on her previously dormant channel that everyone hurried to the bulletin board.
What greeted them at the top of the post was a very simple title.
[Friede’s Going for a Car Camping Night Broadcast.]
