Chapter 138
Lotus is Poisonous
“Hot! Spicy!”
“Season 9 is here, with Forming in Non-Gye mode on!”
“Lotus (Non-Gye): I’ve taken down the enemy commander!”
“Lotus! Telling a random streamer she’s a b*tch? Total chaos!”
“The 19th entry in the World Tree Wiki’s Lotus controversy has been written, LOL!”
“How many controversies does this f*cking team have?”
“Did it start with knocking out that TK Schneider while winning the Soul Cup? Maybe?”
“Ah, that ace from the European Unicorn team, Gaygay, made a dirty joke right on camera, and boom, he got hit double time, LOL!”
“Even now, it’s still f*cking nuts.”
“Ahhh!”
Gyeong-ha’s dramatic moment while clutching her head was refreshing. By the way, 19 controversies means there were 18 before that. I made a firm resolution to look it up later. Better jot it down so I don’t forget.
“Hey, just chill a bit.”
“Hey! You’re always trash-talking me using my sister as a hostage!”
“Really funny. Got any proof I was trash-talking? You’ve been hit with headshots nonstop, your insecurity is exploding, exploding!”
“Hey!”
In a split second, Gyeong-ha glared, grabbing Da-young by the hair, and Da-young was not having it.
“Like I couldn’t grab you too!”
It was a standoff where they were both nearly yanking each other’s hair out. I quickly turned the camera to another angle. I had a strong hunch this scene shouldn’t be shown. As I switched the camera, the chat went wild.
“Hey, F*ck! Change the channel, camera, whatever!”
“Why are you showing your face when it’s Catfight on? Actually, that’s better.”
“Seriously, just show your face like this, noonim!”
“No need to see the gameplay, just stay like this for 5 hours!”
“As expected, noonim’s got the looks. Performance solid!”
The voices of Gyeong-ha and Da-young were drowned out. Then, a loud notification sound caught everyone’s attention as a massive message popped up on the screen.
“‘ZekeGarterBelt’ donated 100,000 won! – Noonim, give me a chu~♥ once!”
“……”
A rare donation popped in. Regardless of the amount, the message made my eyes blink repeatedly.
A ‘chu’? Like a kiss? What…
“Not like I can’t do that.”
“Oh dang, that’s our noonim. So bold. @@”
“Mommy, do it passionately for the camera!”
“Today feels like a day for something spectacular, sob.”
“Big things are coming!”
With the chat cheering in the background, I approached Gyeong-ha and Da-young, who were still caught up in their hair-pulling.
Jumping in between the two of them, I turned to the camera and said, “Here, this is a chu. Chu.”
Peck, peck.
My lips grazed their cheeks, and for a moment, I felt the soft skin of both girls between my lips. Honestly, it was a bit tempting to suck them in just a little, feeling that plumpness. At that moment, they stopped fighting and stared at me blankly. Not that there was much going on anyway.
“Now, why are you guys fighting? Gyeong-ha, Da-young, let’s stop squabbling over the game, okay?”
“I-I’ll do it. But suddenly, what’s with the kiss? That surprised me.”
“I’m going to cause another controversy now… but I don’t mind.”
“Me too! Give me a chu, damn it!”
“Let’s team up for some wrestling. Noonim will do it for us!”
“Anyone who wants to fight! Jenny of the Chain Scythe will take you on!!!”
“Can I handle the National Offender of Leashes!!!”
“Guys, this isn’t an arena!”
“We’re gonna all die, ㅠㅠ.”
No time to waste here.
I’ll have to squeeze in some rank practice with Gyeong-ha in our three-person party today.
* * *
“Lotus is ready for Catfight ON!”
“Author: Eating Noonim’s Midir.”
Is this the Friede-inspired harem or something?
Double the flowery hands.
“Yep, I’m holding my breath until I see the lotus!”
“It says here, huh?”
“Red Lotus: I’m ready to be kissed!”
Pape Pape (Jin): Our Forming gamer won’t back down, ^^.
“Where’s the original while we’re cosplaying?!”
“Pape Pape (Jin): I am the original, though?”
SweetGuy: Our Leader can do whatever he wants ^^.
* * *
“Seems Forming’s actually pretty good.”
“Author: Kim Gaetullak.”
They didn’t hire the leader for nothing.
Honestly, I was a bit doubtful at first.
Forming hopped right onto the Friede bus and zoomed into Grand Master tier, LOL!
“hope5555: But they only shot arrows, right? So still not sure?”
“yaSergei: I catch Forming’s streams sometimes, but close-range is just okay. Seems like he particularly enjoys aim-heavy games.”
“Yep, got the aiming point down for sure.”
“Friede kissed, ‘What kind of a photo is this?'”
“Author: yaSergei.”
Is Friede Mommy really that cute?
It’s gloriously surreal.
I want to get kisses from Forming or Lotus too!
“ZekeGarterBelt: Lips, fragrance, everything… pure peach.”
“Yep, definitely has that peach color.”
“SweetGuy: If the lips mash together, peach juice would surely come out.”
“I think it’d be sweet, for real.”
* * *
“What a devastating winning streak.”
“Author: ZekeGarterBelt.”
When Friede goes into serious gaming mode, no one can stop her.
Right now, without Forming or Lotus, she’s ranked in solo games with a 13-win streak.
(The clip of her collapsing due to a mis grab at the edge.)
Just now, TK Schneider also met her Mommy and got wrecked. LOL!
“Hey, did she fall backwards right off a cliff or something?”
“That kind of angle is hard to come by, so let’s be grateful for that fail pic, LOL!”
“Who’s the downvote — seriously?”
“Must be Schneider; can’t be helped!”
* * *
Now there’s no time to dawdle.
Let’s play hard today until Gyeong-ha joins the party.
* * *
With that, onto the next chapter.
I feel like I’ve done this concept a couple of times already. From Master to Grand Master, and from Grand Master aiming for Challenger.
But I wondered if I’d ever been so heated in gaming like this before.
The flames igniting on my body while brightly lighting up the world were immensely satisfying, and the following series of numbers brought such fulfillment.
Still, thankfully, this game was pretty easy compared to the epic ending. It was probably because Gyeong-ha was on my team, allowing us to take it down in a whirlwind. Seriously, halfway through, it turned into a score battle between Gyeong-ha and me, so one could almost say it was a complete stomp.
Now the win rewards will soon appear on the scoreboard. I was bursting with the desire to see what was in those gifts. Well, it felt more like anxious anticipation closely wrapped in excitement.
The reason was simple.
“I’m nervous.”
Waiting for the transition to the next screen, I casually muttered, and the chat responded.
“Is this a guaranteed first place?”
“A little vague. With the timing affecting today’s scores, it’ll be tough to squeeze in another match.”
“But after today, it’ll be preseason, so even if we want to, we can’t play.”
Exactly.
Today was the last day of the ranked matches.
At that moment, while battling for the last first place with the Warden player, it’s essentially the last game set I’ll finish.
The scores had been fluctuating closely without much difference. In moments like this, facing enemies really solidifies the differences.
But by some twist of fate… we coincidentally never faced each other as enemies. Meeting on the same side didn’t hold significant meaning. Both Warden and I would share the victory anyway.
“Heart’s racing!”
“If I end as second, Friede-noona will totally break down.”
“LOL, her eyes and tear ducts will just pour out, it seems.”
“Wait, she’s a water-based woman?”
– National Offender of Leash has been forcibly removed.
– Chain Scythe’s Jennie has been forcibly removed.
“LOL, those poor souls got wrecked!”
“I believe in you, noonim! You can make it to first place!”
Did the viewers resonate with my feelings as well? Like Protoss connected to a Kalla, we all seemed to hope for the next screen to appear.
And when the score window popped up…
“It’s been a while.”
I stared at those top-tier points before seeing my rank of first.
Silently, I raised my clenched fist toward the sky.
“F*ck, I really did it!”
“Did that sweetness feel good?”
“Warden’s probably losing his mind!”
“I’m catching Lotus streaming now and he’s cracking up, LOL!”
“Wow, this is brutal! How did that happen right at the end?”
“Host, I haven’t seen a reaction this generous until now!”
“LOL, the last-second first place is unbeatable!”
I wondered whether I had been that stoic or if I was being too dramatic right now.
Ah, thinking back on this journey, I guess it makes sense. It falls well within the realm of understanding.
Ranking first isn’t an achievement you can just whip up overnight; I had been pouring non-stop gaming time over nearly four days. Ahn-ji and Yuri were at least this much occupied and didn’t get to see me except for bare minimum meetings. Sometimes I paired up with Gyeong-ha or Da-young, but in the end, it was just me who continued the marathon without much sleep outside of four hours.
“Ah, this final bus feels epic. This is some top-tier streaming, right?”
For a change… I couldn’t stop babbling. Not that I was feeling bothered; instead, I embraced the mood, letting it flow. It felt like my heart was racing ahead of my thoughts, but who cares? Riding the final bus brings the thrill and rush of conquest— overflowing with euphoria.
