Chapter 370

“Hmm~ Hrum~”

Millia hummed a tune and rubbed her face against my arm.

I couldn’t tell if she was in a good mood because we were on a picnic or if it was because she was hugging my arm. Either way, it didn’t really matter…

As long as she was enjoying herself.

“Hehe, it’s been so long since we did this.”

“I don’t even remember the last time we took a break like this.”

We were having a sweet moment under the mini World Tree, pouring out good energy.

Surely, I was capturing both practicality and romance at the same time. No couple could beat this combination. Honestly, just being near the World Tree could help even a sick person recover little by little.

It wasn’t without reason that elves worshiped the World Tree.

Just living near a genuine World Tree could grant ordinary humans longevity, and elves, who lived much longer than humans, had their magic and spirit affinity boosted by it.

Come to think of it, I hadn’t heard any news from that side in quite a while. I should probably check in on them later. I couldn’t guarantee that no gods had descended there either.

“Johann?”

“…Ah, sorry. I was just thinking for a moment.”

“You seem to be worrying too much lately. How about letting it go and taking a good rest just for now?”

Her beautiful voice whispered sweet words.

I willingly surrendered my body to that sweet whisper.

“You’re right. Worrying in a place like this is pointless. It’s better to just relax without a thought.”

I leaned against the tree and stretched my legs. Karina naturally sat comfortably beside me, leaning her body against me. Millia quietly sat between my legs.

Not long after, Elisa also hugged my arm, resting her head on my shoulder.

…At this rate, the place was just like before. Well, if they were happy, it didn’t matter… I comfortably let myself sink into my lovers.

“Johann, ah~”

Oh wow, so sweet. What on earth did they make this with?

After swallowing a cookie Millia fed me, I couldn’t help but look for coffee right away.

“Hand over the coffee, Millia.”

“Sure!”

Ah, with the bitter taste coming in, I felt a bit more alive.

I didn’t dislike sweet things, but this was too much. As I enjoyed each cookie the kids handed me, I diligently drained the cup of bitter coffee.

“I can’t eat anymore.”

Why are you looking at me with such disappointed eyes?

You guys should eat some too.

“It’s fun when Johann feeds us…”

“I’m fine, so you all eat some too.”

“We’re eating little by little. The cookies are really delicious!”

Isn’t that something else?

Girls really can handle sweet things well.

Even Renny, who usually can’t eat sweet stuff, was enjoying them, and it was quite something.

…Maybe it was the alcohol that I pretended was coffee?

I didn’t know if alcohol and sweet cookies went well together.

I glanced up at the sky while having those pointless thoughts. A clear sky without a single cloud. With the warm spring weather, the air was cool, making it a perfect day for a nap.

“I’m going to take a little nap.”

“Me too!”

“I’ll join too.”

Is this a picnic or a siesta?

I chuckled, watching my lovers close their eyes against my body.

This felt like taking care of a bunch of children. Renny, who was sneakily drinking alcohol, winked at me when Karina closed her eyes — a secret just for the two of us.

“Terry, Lulu.”

“Meow?”

“Don’t wander too far if you can help it.”

“Don’t worry too much. I’ll keep an eye out.”

Sif waved her hand, smiling, as if to say not to worry about them.

Guess I’ll try taking a nap for a change.

I happily closed my eyes.

————————-

“Johann, wake up already! The sunset is really beautiful!”

Have I really slept that long?

I opened my eyes and tried to stretch but soon remembered the lovers clinging to me and gave up. Both of them were half-awake, looking at me because I stirred my shoulders.

“Johanniii…”

“Johann…”

How adorable.

I looked up at the sky dyed in shades of scarlet while wrapping my arms around their waists.

Such a beautiful scene. I hadn’t watched the sunset like this in ages. The feeling was so healing that the corners of my mouth naturally lifted.

I want to spend every day like this.

I’m tired of the bloody life.

As I sunk into thoughts like a veteran soldier, Elisa’s voice came to me.

“Johanniii… please kiss me.”

Did the sunset make her blush? I gently lifted the chin of the cheeky young witch.

“Hmm…”

As soon as our lips met, a tiny tongue intruded into my mouth. I enjoyed the delightful sensation of Elisa’s tongue as it tickled me. At first, she seemed shy, but now she entwined her tongue skillfully.

How long had she been longing for such a pure face?

Or rather, was it because she was pure that it felt even more so? She was simply enjoying a deep kiss innocently…

Well, whatever.

As long as it feels good, that’s what matters.

And so we played with our tongues for almost five minutes, brushing against each other’s teeth, poking the roofs of our mouths, and gently squeezing each other’s cheeks to confirm our affection for one another.

Now that we’ve gotten used to it, this love act never gets boring.

We only broke our lips apart when Karina called for me with a pouty face.

“Johann, that’s unfair. I want one too.”

“Of course.”

If it weren’t for the blessing, my lips would be swollen. I stroked Elisa’s head as she fiddled with her lips regretfully, then immediately pressed my lips against Karina.

Of course, I was also aware of the remaining four pairs of eyes watching me.

Whenever one of us did something, it had to be repeated six times.

It was an unspoken rule of sorts.

Even though the order was set, no one was allowed to rush ahead.

It was a near-immutable code for a peaceful harem life.

Of course, it was quite a hassle for me, who had to take care of all six, but I didn’t mind.

I wasn’t lacking in stamina at that level, and enjoying physical affection with all six brought me tremendous pleasure and satisfaction.

…And since we hadn’t gotten to the bedroom yet, this was the only time my body felt a slight flush.

“It’s pretty amazing in a way. Taking turns for deep kisses; you wouldn’t find this anywhere else.”

You’re one of those girls too. Don’t act like a third party, you tanned girl.

I shot a side-eye at Renny, who was looking at me with a mix of anticipation. Of course, I didn’t forget to entwine my tongue in the meantime. I couldn’t neglect anyone, even for a moment.

“Lewis is saying something over there… over there…”

“Ah…”

In the distance, we could hear voices of another couple—fresh? No, they were way more advanced than us, a couple stuck together. Don’t tell me they’re trying to hide out here?

If they get caught by the sensitive people here, it would be hard to hold their heads up in public.

There are kids around too.

Well, they’d probably take care of themselves.

They weren’t kids who couldn’t manage at least that much.

I briefly checked on the original couple, who were sneaking away through the bushes, and closed my eyes.

When I finished kissing the last one, Renny, the orange sky blended with black paint, and the moon began to reveal itself.

“It’s already dark… it doesn’t feel like we’ve been here long.”

“We all took a nap together, so it can’t be helped.”

Having napped together and engaged in long, deep kisses, time inevitably passed. Still, kissing in such a beautiful place felt… quite different.

Later, it might be outdoors… no.

This wasn’t something to think about right now.

For now, the priority was to figure out how to hunt that guy down.

“Let’s start packing up and head down. We should go back and eat a late dinner and get a good rest, don’t you think?”

“Hehe, that’s right.”

We began to tidy up the picnic spot, everyone pitching in. Sif and Lewis, who had appeared out of nowhere, quietly helped clean up.

I wondered if they really enjoyed their time alone because they both carried a peculiar scent. I thought the others would notice, but I stole a glance at Karina, who was subtly eyeing this side, while I packed my things.

I wanted to, but… if I did, I’d end up doing it with all six, so I had no impulse to act.

Exterminate the outsider and enjoy leisurely…

Hmm?

“…This feels strange.”

“Just like Johann said… something feels off.”

Had we sunk too deep into our own world?

We overlooked the capital from the middle of a hill. The capital, usually shining bright with light, was strangely devoid of illumination under the settling darkness.

Even without speaking, everyone felt something was off.

I rubbed my forehead, swearing under my breath.

“…What the hell.”

Give us a break, you oblivious outsider brats.
