Chapter 1220

Chapter Fifty-Eight: Oh My, This is the World’s Greatest Treasure!

As for why the Divine Spark takes the form of a little loli after initially condensing, the reason is quite simple.

The newly formed Divine Spark is like a newborn baby, tender and bewildered, completely unaware of the outside world. It needs to absorb more Source Power and gradually perfect its existence over time.

Although it is essentially an extension of Little Dragon Daughter’s consciousness controlling a clone, as her main body is still in a state of sleeping evolution and has yet to synchronize completely with her soul, coupled with the uniqueness of this newborn Divine Spark, this child is like a freshly hatched version of her, completely forgetting her past, retaining only the most instinctual nature—her innate little dragon instincts.

Perhaps, the evolution will only be fully completed when the Divine Spark here has sufficiently formed, and the separated soul reunites with the main body. This will likely be a long process, at least without any external catalyst.

In normal circumstances, such a massive robbery of Source Power like before with the Ghost Ship would be almost impossible.

Gods are immortal and ageless, and their Divine Sparks are like already forged divine weapons that cannot be destroyed in any form, let alone revert back to the original source, pouring the liquid—those Source Powers—back out of the container.

The God of the Azure Sea and Truth is the only true god that Miss Vilyric knows of who has completely perished and whose Divine Spark has shattered. His total death is a coincidence of many simultaneous factors, unlike those gods who ventured beyond the world to participate in the Twilight War and have never been heard from again; rather, he left everything within the world.

To be honest, even if someone tries to replicate this process while knowing all the details, it would be nearly impossible, because the concept of the End cannot be preserved or recorded in any form, and thus there is no means of transmission. Apart from the special authority of Truth, other gods simply cannot reach out to that thing from afar.

Even if we take a ten-thousand-step back, the Ghost Ship, although possessing a portion of the Divine Spark’s source, is merely a toxic blend of intense pollution. It’s unlikely that any god would be unreasonable enough to just burn it clean and extract its valuable parts like a certain Dragon Daughter might.

In short, if one wishes to acquire a large amount of Source Power to assist Xiao Guang in continuing her evolution, it likely won’t be as simple as this first step.

Hmm… I wonder if the God of Truth left behind any other fragments? If not, maybe we should find a way to look for them later? Otherwise, at the rate Xiao Guang is currently evolving, who knows how long it will take to get it done…

While thinking, the Priestess picked up the golden-haired little girl by the back of her neck with one hand, lifting her from the bed like she was a little kitten.

Although Xiao Guang’s humanoid form stands over 1.7 meters tall, almost a head taller than Vilyric, this little loli with her newly condensed Divine Spark is barely under 1.2 meters, with thin arms and legs. She’s so small that even the Priestess can look down at her. Compared to a loli, perhaps calling her a young girl is more appropriate.

The previous height difference has now completely reversed.

Thinking of this, someone couldn’t help but feel secretly pleased.

With one hand lifting the golden-haired little girl and placing her on the ground, Vilyric gently patted her delicate face that was still sleepily drowsy, as if coaxing a small child.

“Alright, wake up quickly. Today is the day we’re leaving the East Sea Pearl. You need to get up to attend the farewell ceremony.”

Standing barefoot on the ground with her pearly white feet, the little Dragon Daughter sleepily lifted her eyelids, and without fully waking, she instinctively leaned into the black-haired girl’s embrace and whined cutely.

“Wuu… Does it really matter…”

While stroking the little loli’s smooth and flowing golden hair, Vilyric couldn’t help but smile with exasperation.

“What do you mean it doesn’t matter? After living on the island for so long and experiencing so much together, it’s only right to say goodbye to Your Majesty, don’t you think? If you’re really too tired, how about you get some more sleep once we’re on the ship?”

Though still just a child, the newly reborn little Dragon Daughter seems to be even more understanding than before. She quickly stopped clinging to her master and nodded, ready to separate.

“Since you say so, then okay…”

“That’s a good girl. Now, hurry up and wash your face, change into some clothes. We’re getting ready to leave, and since I’ve taught you so many times, you should be able to do it without my help, right?”

“Mm~!”

Watching Xiao Guang pad off barefoot with a “pat pat” into the bathroom, and hearing the sound of water soon splash inside, the black-haired girl sat on the bed, shaking her head in a mix of helplessness and amusement.

As mentioned earlier, since this little loli essentially consists of part of Xiao Guang’s soul separated during her sleep, plus the consciousness mixed from her newly formed Divine Spark, she can be seen as a nearly identical existence to Little Dragon Daughter. Yet she is uniquely devoid of memories.

Knowing nothing and understanding nothing, not only did she have to be taught how to eat and dress from scratch, but she also stubbornly resisted or was overly wary of all outsiders aside from her master, even wanting to attack them at the slightest disagreement.

Other kids were nowhere near as dangerous…

But perhaps because newborns are more malleable, and out of instinctual trust towards her master, Vilyric found that most things she tried to teach this little Dragon Daughter were quickly understood and absorbed, seamlessly integrated into her knowledge.

At least compared to when they first met Miss Le Qiao Qiao, where just out of curiosity to touch the dragon horns on her head, she nearly sent her flying to the stars with a little paw; now Xiao Guang wouldn’t attack others carelessly anymore. Even if she did act, she understood how to control her power, distinguishing between “can kill” and “cannot kill” targets.

Of course, this was also because after witnessing that terrifying dragon power, many people were too intimidated to provoke this fiery little loli again.

Sigh… That Xiao Guang, when she finally opened her mouth, went all out and surprised everyone. While I’m looking forward to reuniting with my pet, who would have thought it would be in this form…

Just as Miss Vilyric’s thoughts spun like a storm in her mind, the bathroom door suddenly creaked open with a woeful sound, revealing the golden-haired little girl rushing out once again, still barefoot.

“Master, master, I’m ready! Look, is this alright?!”

Following the crisp, tender shout, the Priestess instinctively looked up.

Her originally naturally cascading, messy golden hair, which had fallen down to her waist, was now neatly arranged, the tips tied up in a simple but expertly braided style. Her already soft face appeared even more dewy and smooth after washing, making it impossible not to want to pinch a bit and enjoy that delightful texture.

She swapped her loose light white nightgown for a freshly tailored exquisite black-and-white Lolita dress. Her arms, as white as lotus roots, and her calves below the knees swayed gracefully in the air, completely at ease.

The bare feet inherited from her main body were adorned with small leg rings shaped like bells, jingling softly as she walked without being too noisy.

She lifted her head; those golden vertical pupils added an invisible majesty to her innocent and pure appearance. A pair of tender little horns sprouted out on both sides of her head, too small to fully grasp, reminiscent of adorable decorative toys. The small tail hiding under her skirt didn’t even manage to peek out at all.

Oh my, she’s simply a unique treasure of this world.

Thinking of this, the smile on the Priestess’s face became almost uncontrollable as she walked straight to the little Dragon Daughter, who had opened her arms to showcase her appearance.

“Hmph, my Xiao Guang is the cutest child in the world! So~ perfect, let’s set off!”
