That meat fist slammed right onto the golden barrier, unleashing a sharp and wild roar that shot up into the sky, bricks flew, the earth shook, and the entire Wangxi Basin trembled under the might of this strike.

Fine cracks gradually spread across the thin golden barrier, as if it might shatter at any moment.

The Headless Monster let out a few disdainful snorts from its massive mouth, preparing to deliver another punch to completely crush it. However, in the next moment, a vast golden light suddenly shone from above the barrier!

Countless complex and mysterious runes quietly emerged on the surface of the barrier, like bright jewels embedded in a formation. They flowed and trembled, turning into a more harmonious whole, bringing forth a terrifying pressure far beyond its previous harmless guise!

And it exploded forth!

Before its companion could warn, the grand force instantly erupted, and the Headless Monster, which had just punched the barrier, didn’t even have time to roar or wail, as its entire left fist shattered inch by inch and it was sent flying out, like a missile shot at high speed, hurtling across the entire Wangxi Basin from south to north, smashing into the opposite mountainside!

An even more violent tremor rocked the earth, as if drawn by this eruptive force. In the blink of an eye, denser black clouds swarmed the sky, lightning flashed and thunder rolled, as if divine punishment were about to descend, punishing the arrogant fools who dared to offend divine authority.

After a moment of silence, the creatures fell into a confusion mingled with shock and awe.

“What… what was that just now?”

“The Headless was actually…”

“Quick! Go check if the Headless is dead or not! If it’s not dead, bring it back! Something’s not right; we need to retreat!”

“Got it!”

Two figures immediately leaped forward, rushing toward the mountainside where the Headless Monster had vanished, while the hooded figure who had just issued commands and found this barrier’s position turned its heavy gaze back towards the golden barrier alongside the other monsters.

The light patterns pulsed as the barrier, activated by the external attack, resembled a living being, rhythmically releasing waves of chillingly potent pressure, the aura unique to the “Rules” surging. The cracks that had been forced earlier had long since disappeared, leaving only incomprehensible runes flashing bright glimmers between the curtain.

“This is… the power of that realm? How could this be? Under the power of our benefactor, there shouldn’t be any true immortals left in the Ancient Spirit Realm…”

Another figure spoke in a deep voice.

“Whatever the case, the commotion has already become too large. This kind of forceful assault on the barrier will definitely alert the existence of this prohibition. We should retreat… it’s not yet time for a complete showdown.”

“Agreed, once they bring back the Headless… Huh? Heartless, what’s wrong with you?”

The one referred to as Heartless was another mysterious figure similar in stature to a human, cloaked and hooded to hide their form. However, from the silhouette, it was evident that it was probably a female.

She appeared unusually quiet and weak, having never participated in the discussions among the creatures before, but now, for some reason, she was trembling violently, her voice turning from its supposed melodic tone into a sorrowful wail.

“Calm down! Explain what’s going on!?”

The hooded figure at the lead grabbed Heartless’s shoulder, and in the scuffle, her hood fell off, revealing a delicate and pretty face with flowing pink hair.

Yet, that face had already lost all color, looking nearly dead-white, as if she had seen some unspeakable terror, a nightmare of an ancient ferocious beast.

Her desperate murmurs soared into the heavens along with the thunderstorm winds, fading away.

“We’ll die, we’ll all die… there’s no way we could defeat such a monster…”

As she walked through a sea of blood-red flowers, the black-haired girl suddenly lifted her head, as if sensing something, and glanced in a particular direction, her brow furrowing slightly.

“What’s with the timing…”

Noticing her shift in expression, Miss Hen immediately inquired.

“What’s wrong?”

“Oh… nothing, it’s probably just some lost cat or dog accidentally bumping into someone’s door. I’ll check it out later, but for now, I still have some confidence in my defenses.”

It seemed the silver-haired girl understood the ambiguous words of the Priestess and frowned slightly, but seeing her remain calm, she didn’t press further, simply nodding.

“Alright, I’ll trust your judgment.”

It has been over half an hour since they entered the Endless Ruins Sea.

During this time, Miss Vilyric and the others had been walking in this strange land of blooming Flower of the Other Shore under Murong Yun’s guidance. After an initial surprise, they gradually acclimated to the environment.

“By the way, how much longer until we reach the ruins of the Open Heaven Gate? And didn’t they say this place is pretty dangerous? How come we haven’t seen a single trace of enemies yet?”

Seemingly well-acquainted with the area, the white-clad middle-aged man, who had entered first and waited for them inside, shook his head.

“Miss Vilyric, the Endless Ruins Sea is different from the real world. The spatial and temporal scales here are quite vague; there isn’t a precise positioning. While I can roughly find the direction, it’s hard to give you an accurate answer before we truly reach our destination.”

He crouched down, pointing to a common bright red Flower of the Other Shore at his feet, without actually touching it.
